TFC Communication: As part of ongoing maintenance to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Telecom PBX, certain telephones will be rebooted during this time. The rebooted phones are network-connected Avaya 9600-series and 4600-series connected to the wall with red or green network cables. Older digital phones will not be impacted.
Each IP Phone set takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes to reboot. During the reboot, there will not be dial tone on the phone. Calls that are active will be dropped. Additionally, any PCs connected through the phone will temporarily lose network connections.
