Restoration progress is being made across all WashU campuses after the unprecedented flash flooding, however, North Campus remains closed. While the university and all of its schools and campuses remain on regular operating schedules, there will be disruptions as damage assessments and clean-up continue both on campus and throughout our community.
North Campus Mail Services has relocated to West Campus. If you are expecting a package, please notify the sender or carrier service to inquire about a re-route to an open address on campus.
Parking and Transportation Services on the North Campus remains closed and distribution of U-Passes and parking permits will be delayed. The university will be moving to open-park operations effective immediately and through August 28. During this time, parking is allowed in yellow permit and visitor-designated spaces on the Danforth, North and West campuses without the use of a permit or payment.
Resources and support are in place to help employees and managers through the impact of severe weather. The emergency conditions policy outlines protocols to address operational and employee needs. Departments should refer to their unit plans and processes to ensure onsite operations are carried out while balancing the need for alternative work schedules or locations and flexibility, as appropriate. Updates will be shared here and on the university’s social media channels.
