The purpose of this outage notification is to inform the occupants of the building(s) that Facilities Engineering will be performing a test/inspection of the building fire alarm system. During this test occupants will see strobe lights flashing and hear horns or speakers playing an audible fire alarm message alerting occupants to evacuate the building. However, occupants will not need to evacuate the building during this test. When all of the testing has been completed an “all clear” message will be given.
